About me.
I’m Shannon Covel, and I’ve always had a deep passion for design, creation, and self-expression. My journey as a designer began at a young age when I first picked up a sewing needle. Over the years, I honed my skills and found my initial niche in crafting dazzling drag costumes. These costumes were more than just clothing; they were a canvas for self-identity and empowerment.
As time went on, my creative spirit led me into the captivating world of lingerie design. It was here that I discovered a new avenue for artistic expression, one that allowed me to combine elegance and allure in unique and empowering ways. My designs began to reach people all over the world, connecting with those who appreciated the sensual and confident aesthetic I sought to create.
But my journey doesn’t stop at fashion. I’ve always been attuned to the diverse needs of the kink and fetish community. For over a decade, I’ve channeled my design expertise into crafting bespoke pieces that celebrate individuality, desire, and identity, providing a platform for self-expression that’s both beautiful and empowering.
Beyond my work in design, I’m deeply committed to advocacy. I run a non-profit group in Louisville, Kentucky, dedicated to gender and sexuality education. Through this organization, I strive to provide essential support and knowledge to those exploring their own identities, helping them find acceptance within their communities.
My life’s work is about more than just fashion or fetish; it’s about embracing and celebrating the rich tapestry of human identity. Whether through my designs or my advocacy efforts, I’m dedicated to promoting self-expression, inclusivity, and education. It’s an honor to be part of these transformative journeys, both as a designer and as an advocate.
